What are the best cities to live in Taiwan for someone in the 50's?
Q. I am planning to retire to Taiwan and I am looking for people who live there to name some good places for me and my wife to live. Where looking for somewhere that is convent for all the major things such as: restaurants, grocery stores, hospitals, entertainment, and easy access to other parts of the island. Which cities have the better housing markets: prices, variety of homes, neighborhoods, etc.. We grew up in British HongKong so we are not foreigners to large Asian cities, so population is not much of an issue. Any other information would be helpful. @i don't know I am BRITISH and I was born and raised in Hong Kong, therefore I am Hong Kong Briton . And if you don't know it people who were born in Hong Kong under the British rule have… [cont.]

Housing market in Taipei is really good there are lots of places to live within different communities, but the prices are much higher than in Taichung. Hualian is also great place to live however you have to be more aware of the tropical storms and how they are developing, but… [cont.]
