How do I get internet service via cell phone?
Q. I have one laptop.No phone.Need internet service and am willing to purchase cell phone service for primary purpose of setting up internet service for laptop. How is this done?How much dose it co$t?Whats best inexpensive plan?

A. This is very expensive. Verizon, Cingular and Sprint offer these PC cards. They will cost $50 with a 2-year agreement. If you want to do it without a contract, then it will be $200 for the PC Card. As for the plans, for unlimited data, it is about $80 - $100. I don't think the limited data is worth it, unless you do not plan to use it much. In addition, recently in press release, Cingular is getting UMTS (3.5G technology) set-up by January 2007. You will be able to get 3.5Mbps speed from GTOption's PC Card.

How long does it take a credit monitoring service to discover a new account has been opened?
Q. I pay for a credit monitoring service every month. March 1st I opened a new account, and expected the service to notify me of the change, since they have no proof I was the one who opened the account. Typically how long does it take a credit monitoring service to discover changes made on an account? To my knowledge they only work with one bureau, not all three. I have not called them because I want to see if they ever notify me. If not, I'm closing the service and requesting a refund. Also, is there a service which provides daily updates from all 3 credit bureaus?

A. The credit reporting monitoring service will usually notify you of activity in a short time frame say 24 to 48 hours, check the FAQ on the credit bureau monitoring service where you signed up. A new account can take 60 to 90 days to appear on your credit report. Many lenders submit there updates from the prior month in the first week of the new month.

A. I'm not sure if you're asking or defining. You already answered your own question with the following statement. You basically would be trying to run a business without a strategic plan, which would show financially. Cost is only a small part of the plan in determining financial gain. If you're just selling a product with no concern of money loss or gain, then go ahead and call your business "for non-profit". Allocating funds throughout the company IS essential, subtract even one calculation necessary, quality will plummet.
