Why are there so many illiterate people in the Religion and Spirituality section?
Q. Browsing through the Religion and Spirituality section it never fails to amaze me how many questions are not actually questions. They often just seem to be random selections of (often misspelled) words with a question mark at the end. The answers are often not much better. As an atheist I'd like to point out that this poor command of language appears to be shared equally among both theists and atheists alike. This seems to be more prevalent in this section than in any other. Does anyone know why?

A. Because theology is all about opinions. If a person is answering in one of the other sections, they often have to back-up their answer w/ facts and/or research. Also, people in other sections are often answering questions that deal with their occupation (like computers, medicine, etc.). But in religion & spirituality (and to a lesser extent, politics), people can just spout off what they believe without having done any research based purely on their personal opinion. So, you'll end up with more lazy people that don't care to spell, punctuate or communicate more clearly in such sections.
