Why do people label Christianity as horrible?
Q. Its funny that in our world the greatest trick that Satan has pulled is convincing the world that he does not exist. In analyzing our current society ( especially America where I live) you see so much about the judgmental and wicked church trying to judge everyone and its so funny to me that people say because the HUMANS in the church say or do something that the philosophy of a religion is faulted. Christianity teaches not to judge and to love thy neighbor however Christians neglecting these principal cornerstones of our religion seem to be the ones to speak for Christianity and how homosexuals are horrible abominations and abortions seekers deserve to burn in hell. These so called Christians are farthest away from Christianity. If… [cont.]

Does anyone know any former pagan/wiccan denominations or sects?
Q. For example, Christianity in the 17 century had denominations like Diggers, Adamites, Seekers, Collegiants and so forth that are not held anymore in this century. Are there any former pagan groups like that? Just a simple wondering question, that's all. Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. What I meant was are there any wiccan or pagan cults that stopped being practiced today or years ago. No longer in use anymore. that's what I mean.

A. Wicca is really a "denomination" But Paganism in itself is not a religion, but an umbrella term. The word "Pagan" was originally used by Roman soldiers to make fun of the peasants, it meant "folky", "nature walker" and "earth person". But most Pagan religions that are known of are still followed today, they may not be what they originally were, but they are not dead either. Hope that helps! *EDIT* Umm...excuse me...cults? The first religion was a Pagan religion. Please do not use the degrading word of "cult".

Wiccan's! What can a Young "Wiccan seeker" do to help rid these feelings of Wiccan Doubt?
Q. Sorry if this sounds..."fluffy"... I try so hard to rid these feelings.Bottom line, I don't believe in the Christian god.I believe in the God and Goddess! I really do... But when I have so much..."God" around me, I can't help but feel like "Maybe...I'm all wrong... maybe this is all wrong." but i know it'S NOT!For ONCE in my life, I feel like I am myself! I used to constantly change who and what I was...but then realized that...It's not who I am...it's who THEY are. And when I found Wicca, I have felt like the chains were broken! I found who I really was! But, then I got people saying all over the place talking about "God"! And how "God is the only way" or something. Churches everywhere i turn! Crosses everywhere I look! I can't help but… [cont.]

A. I used to have doubts too. It's normal. You came into Wicca from a Christian background, and you have not yet connected with the god and goddess in a significant way. So you doubt. It's very normal!!! You can't "block" these feelings. Doing so will only cause those feelings to creep around, under the surface, and rear its ugly head when you are least expecting it. Doubt must be resolved, not repressed. Keep learning all you can about Wicca. If you are beyond the basics, you may be thirsting for some more in-depth knowledge that is harder to attain. I've listed some websites that can lead to deeper information. "I know the "connection" comes within myself" - I'm not sure what you mean there. The connection doesn't come from within, it… [cont.]
