From Google News Search: "Testimonies" How do atheists explain the personal testimonies for Christianity? Q. Where they all lying? What is your excuse for that? Asked by The Creationist - Tue Jul 28 22:00:36 2009 - - 10 Answers - 1 Comments A. The same as my explanation for the personal testimonies of Hindus, Muslims, Jews, other atheists, etc. Humans have experiences. They then interpret these experiences via their epistemeological foundations. Doesn't mean they're right, even if they're honest. Thanks for this question, because I have been wanting to tell someone of how the Spirit took over and started a really good work in a friend : I have been meeting with a handful of men, for a few years now. Some are Muslim, some agnostic, some JW. We never argue, but share the Word, and our understanding. Two days ago, I was with one of these men, and he brought up a question, and as I was sharing the scriptures , the Holy Ghost began bearing witness to him ( and me, letting me know he was receiving ), and wow, what a blessing ! All these years, and the Lord finally brought forth fruit ! Halleluiah !!! What a blessing !!! Lest the Spirit do the work, we labor in vain... Peace and love... Answered by Israel-1 - Mon Nov 17 09:59:35 2008 Is there a listing of the top therapists in their field, based on client testimonies? Anyone in Illinois?
Q. Is there a listing which shows the overall results clients have had working with certain social workers, counselors, or therapists? A listing that confirms why these individuals are the best in their field? I'm not really concerned with the degree a therapist has, or how many years they've been in the field. Some of the most expensive veteran therapists have made people worse, or been of little help. Or counselors who have more cases than they can handle, have plenty of time with clients, but the clients seldom improve. However, I am interested in the ability of a therapist to produce life changing results in their clients. If you've personally worked with someone in Illinois that has been helpful, please post their website, and briefly… [cont.] Asked by Crispy - Sat Apr 28 09:44:56 2007 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. I agree with therapists telling patients when they think they are at a "stuck" point, and that they should refer them elsewhere, but I don't agree with the idea of the website. So many patients with personality disorders would give some objectively "good" therapists bad ratings, or give some "bad" therapists good ratings... I don't think it'd be very accurate. Best bet is to meet with someone, get a feel for them, and go from there. Also, I would ask how many of their patients get better and leave treatment... Anyway, I get where you're coming from...
