Throughout history, Christians have used many different approaches to spread Christianity via the practice of evangelism. Christianity began with only a few different evangelical approaches, but over the years, many different forms of evangelism have been employed by various groups to spread the faith. Many of these forms of evangelism have been controversial, and are often employed in only certain parts of the world by Christians in different geographical areas. Q. Hello, For the past several years, pornography has become a past time of mine. A need and an addiction. It's taking over my life. Most every thought I have is somewhat related to this issue. I don't know how to stop it. I'm a Christian and the son of an Evangelist, so this makes things even more difficult. All these people are wrong. It's not that your faith isn't strong enough. While many people struggle with this, does not make it right. The way my friend Dan got over this same problem was to be totally and completely honest. He asked to talk to his pastor in private and was totally honest about the problem. He was embarrassed like no other, but the pastor prayed with him and for him and Dan kept praying on his own about the problem too. Dan admitted to the Lord that he had a problem with looking at porn, and asked for forgiveness and the strength to stop. Dan asked me to pray with/for him, too, and I did.
