Anybody into the way of the master tv program on tbn?
Q. Or the school of biblical evangelism?

A. It seems like a pretty sound program to me. They use God's law to show people their sin and need for salvation and then point to Christ as the solution. It's very biblically based. Now, as for other TBN programs...some are very questionable.

From a biblical viewpoint, should I be upset that my girlfriend now wants to start a webcam website?
Q. I bought her a webcam about 2 months ago so she could perform little shows for me while her husband was out of town. (Don't be mean please. I also bought her husband an XBOX, so he is cool with the arrangement! :) ) She is a very agile gymnast. I digress. Anyway, I just found out this morning that she is now thinking about setting up a website that will allow her to use her great looks as a tool for Evangelism. While performing shows for various men and women for $2.99 a minute, she will also quote bible verses. I have to admit, this is a marvelous idea to bring the word of Jesus Christ to those that may not hear his eternal message, but I have to say I'm a little jealous here. Am I off base, or should I say something to her. I… [cont.]

A. What does her husband think. He might have more say than you... But, you did give it to her as a gift so that would imply she can do with it as she pleases :-) Sorry! (I guess that's not really from a Biblical perspective ;-)

Why should Christians not worry about persuading others and outside opinion?
Q. "It's not a Christian's job to persuade men. That job is God's and His alone."--- Evangelist "Evangelism is making the truth available not making the truth avail." ---Biblical Scholar. "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power". I Corinthians 2:4 "So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy." Romans 9:16 "I don't worry about the naysayers and mockers. I just simply let the dead tend to their own." ---Christian Novelist ***"But Jesus said unto him,Follow me, and let the dead bury their dead." Matthew8:22 "Christanity is the only Faith that will stand rather there is one or one billion proclaming the… [cont.]

A. Well, I'm not a Christian, but I do have a response... Teaching is not forcing ideas down another's throat. It seems that you understand this, considering the quotes you used. However, do not expect these more compassionate methods to win over too many even though they are superior. (The end does not justify the means. Cruelty and forcefulness may work in some situations, but they only breed more people who use these methods.) One more thing. Christianity is NOT the only religion/faith "that will stand whether there is one or one billion proclaiming the name of Christ." Your faith is not greater than that of others simply by its nature. But I guess this is what you get when you quote televangelists...
